Glenside Residential Care Home tries to offer its residents a home from home atmosphere in spacious and peaceful surroundings. Residents are encouraged to use the facilities and the patio and gardens as they wish.

There are three spacious lounges with comfortable furnishings, television, video and radio/CD players. One of our lounges is used to host our social and activity programmes, some of which are run by our staff and others by outside entertainers.

Open Visiting Policy

Our friendly and experienced team of care staff is on duty 24 hours per day, seven days per week. An emergency call bell and fire alarm system is fitted to all areas of the home.

We do our utmost to respect each resident's privacy and dignity in all aspects of their care and social and cultural needs. We have an open visiting policy and family and friends are encouraged to visit regularly.

At Glenside Residential Care Home we offer single and shared rooms. We understand that some prefer the independence of a single room whilst others prefer companionship in shared accommodation, but all are ensured privacy and discretion. Each room is tastefully decorated and we encourage our residents to make their rooms as comfortable as possible by introducing their own items of furniture, ornaments etc., making their accommodation individual to them.
